Sanam Saeed is an English-Pakistani fashion model and stage and tv actress. In 2001, she started her career in Karachi as a comedian. She has worked in Dawn News for some time and is currently working in drama serials on Hum TV and ARY Digital. She has also worked in the film industry.

Tall, talented and a born star, Sanam Saeed's love for theater and acting started when she was only 6 years old. By the time she reached 16, she had already started professional modeling and since then there has been no turning back for her. Television audiences saw her on screen for the first time when she co-hosted a music show on the former channel Indus Music.

She continued with her modeling duties along the side and soon landed leading roles in few of the biggest theatrical productions seen in Pakistan to date including 'Blackfish', 'Mamma Mia' and 'Chicago'. The latter two being musicals also brought out Sanam's vocal talents as a singer and she was made a part of the group of backing vocalists in the popular music program 'Coke Studio'.

She has also made a big name for herself as a TV actress playing a villainous role in the drama serial 'Daam' (ARY Digital) and has recently been associated with the drama serial 'Mera Naseeb' (Hum TV).

Early Life

Sanam Saeed was born into a Muslim family in London and shifted to Karachi in 1991 at the age of 6. She gained her O-Level qualifications from Bay View High School, and joined L'ecole for Advanced Studies for her A Levels.

Saeed started acting as a child and modeling when she was 16. As a teenager she did not enjoy modeling. As she explains: "I was too young to be caught up in the industry therefore seldom did shows."As an adult, she grew more confident and found modeling more enjoyable.

She later contributed vocals to the popular music show "Coke Studio" as a background singer
